We answer the question... "Why am I losing my Medicaid Benefits?"

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Federal Government was unable to disqualify Medicaid members for any reason. Since President Biden has officially called the nearly 3 year long pandemic to a close, Americans should expect to see many changes that require action on their part.

The Federal Government will resume assessing Medicaid qualifications as soon as May. This of course is based upon which state you live in! Some states will not come up for re-qualification until July, but its best to act NOW before you lose your benefits!

What you need to know

  • Look Out for Communication

    Medicaid will be sending you a piece of mail notifying you of your loss of benefits. They are also required to send you another form of communication. This may come via text! Don't worry its not a Scam! 

  • Time is limited

    Once you receive notification of loss of benefits you have a limited time to re-apply!! You only allowed 60 days for reapplication don't waste a minute! 

  • No longer qualify?
